Dannii Minogue inspired by tough walk

DANNII Minogue is back from walking the Great Wall of China, inspired but physically exhausted. She told Confidential that the conditions on the cancer charity walk were sometimes "incredibly difficult".

When she arrived back in Melbourne she found herself short of breath at times because of the air quality in China.

She said the dust in particular affected some of the walkers.

The singer spoke after camping up a performance of Xanadu on the grand final It Takes Two show.

Minogue said she had concerns for walk leader Olivia Newton-John. "I hope Olivia is going to be OK," she said.

"I told her she needs to take a long break after the walk. The conditions are so tough."

Minogue said walking with cancer survivors and victims was inspiring. "It was amazing, such a humbling experience," she said.

"Every night people talked about how they have been affected."

Minogue's parents, Ron and Carol, were in the audience proudly watching her performance as she shimmied away in her J'Aton dress.

Minogue is in Melbourne for the next few weeks to be a judge on Australia's Got Talent.

Her performance of Xanadu was quickly posted by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, proving he is just as big a fan of her as of big sister Kylie. [via]
