Former glamour model Katie Price made quite a splash at the launch of her latest books series.
She turned heads when she arrived at Waterstones at Harrods dressed as a mermaid in an eye-popping pink mermaid ensemble and surrounded herself with shells.
She said the new Mermaids And Pirates series of books was designed for parents to read along with their children.
And it seems that the mum-of-three based the book on her own experiences with her children.
Readers of the one of the books, Follow the Fish, are invited to follow a fictionalised Katie and Peter as the find the fish hidden among its pages.
Price revealed that she is the source of all the ideas for the stories.
She said: "I don't actually write them - I say how I want the story.
"Like I said before in any of my books, even my autobiographies, its all about me, but it's the bits they add in - like its a sunny day or the daffodils are blooming - things like that obviously haven't come from me.
"Like Pete would say its no different to a producer doing a record."
Price is already behind three best-selling memoirs as well as toddlers' books and novels for both children and teens - most of which have been ghost written by a former journalist. - Source
