Jessica Simpson was reportedly "shocked" at John Mayer's recent claims about their sex life.
The singer sparked controversy during an interview in which he spoke candidly about his relationship with Simpson, describing their romance as being like "sexual napalm".
Simpson, who last week laughed off talk of Mayer's statements, was apparently extremely upset when she first heard of her former boyfriend's indiscretion.
A source told OK: "Jessica was shocked. She was really p*ssed off at first when she heard about it.
"Then she read the whole interview, and the first thing that she said was, 'I'm annoyed John would sink so low'."
