Sharon Stone managed to turn quite a few heads when she stepped out at the L.A Gay & Lesbian Center’s "Evening With Women" soiree in Beverly Hills over the weekend, looking suddenly super-skinny.
The 51-year-old actress showed off protruding collar and hip bones beneath her figure-hugging coral Herve Leger dress, causing many to whisper and wonder how the skinny (yet smiling) starlet had shed so many pounds so quickly. Just a few months ago, Stone was snapped significantly larger as she strutted through LAX, but it looks as though she’s now fallen prey to the Tinseltown regime.
But when asked by Pop Tarts about whether her feelings for the Chinese had changed since she infamously told reporters at the Cannes Film Festival last year that the Sichuan earthquake (which killed more than 80,000 people) could have been "karma" because of how China had treated the Tibetans, that trademark temper of hers surfaced.
"That’s not what I said. I think you are behaving ridiculously," she snapped before storming off.
Hmmm, not what she said? Sorry Sharon, its on video in case you need reminding and we quote:
"I’m not happy about the way that the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else," she said last year. "Then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma? When you’re not nice, that the bad things happen to you?" via
Sharon Stone's lawyer says the “Basic Instinct” actress has not lost custody of her 8-year-old son, Roan Joseph Bronstein, despite FOXNews.com's earlier report and reports in other media outlets.
FOXNews.com has confirmed with the offices of Stone's attorney, Martin Singer, that the actress went to court in hopes of gaining permission for Roan to be enrolled in a school in the Los Angeles area (where she resides) rather than in Northern California, where he currently lives with his father and her ex-husband, newspaper executive Phil Bronstein.
The request was rejected and according to the court minute order dated Sept. 12, this was because Bronstein "can provide a more structured continuity, stable, secure and consistent home for the child."
The order is permanent unless there is a change of circumstance, meaning if Bronstein moves out of San Francisco. The couple divorced in early 2004 and have a "joint legal and physical custody" agreement over Roan.
Stone, 50, and Bronstein adopted Roan a week after he was born on May 22, 2000, in Texas. Stone has two other adopted sons: Laird Vonne Stone, born May 7, 2005, and Quinn Kelly Stone, born in June 2006. via
