Nightline Lands First Jesse James Interview

ABC News announced today that Jesse James will appear on next Tuesday's 'Nightline,' in his first television interview since his cheating scandal made headlines in March.

James sits down with 'Nightline's' Vicki Mabrey and discusses his cheating, his divorce from Sandra Bullock, his stint in rehab, and his role in raising Louis, the New Orleans boy Bullock just recently adopted.

Since news of his multiple affairs hit the press, James has kept a low profile, seen only when dropping his kids off at school. But while staying relatively out of the spotlight, the reality star has issued several statements apologizing for his behavior.

When PEOPLE broke the story of Bullock's adoption last month, Jesse released the following statement to the magazine, "My whole life has been full of hard decisions. The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words. Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart."

The interview will air on May 25 at 11:35 ET/PT on ABC.

The star has been nominated for the best actress prize at next month’s Academy Awards, but is concerned she won’t look her best because she is battling cravings for sweet treats. Sandra was looking forward to gracing the red carpet in a stunning bespoke gown, but is now concerned she will have to find an alternative in a bigger size.

"The amount of chocolate I have eaten in the last two weeks is ridiculous," Sandra is quoted as saying. "It's kind of counterproductive to fitting into the tiny dress for the Oscars but I can't help it."

Sandra has already picked up a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for her role in American football drama The Blind Side. The 45-year-old is the hot favourite to add an Oscar to her trophy collection on March 7, but she is starting to feel the pressure of expectation upon her shoulders.

Sandra believes fans and critics may even turn against her and start rooting for an underdog to claim the prestigious accolade. "It's scary but sweet at the same time,” she said about her nomination. “I'm starting to realise no one is interested in who wins. They just want to see who crashes and burns. I'm starting to think that might be me!"

andra Bullock's biker husband has reportedly found his lost dog Cinnabun.

According to TMZ, Jesse James received a call this morning from a woman who recognised the animal from a flier.

She then promptly delivered the dog to the mechanic's Long Beach, CA shop where those who witnessed the reunion apparently began to cry.

The unnamed woman claimed that she discovered Cinnabun roaming the streets in Long Beach "a while ago".

James confirmed that he is to reward her for her efforts.
